Signs of a Struggle

anyway, here's my submission for the Music Contest

Special thanks go to the club founder who was very patient with me when I was submitting this piece EXTRA special thanks go to for all her art advice ^^

So, the song I chose to use was "Cosmic Love" by Florence and the Machine [link] Hope you guys can view that video in your region >.>

Anyway I figured I was going to do some kind of romantic piece... but when I listened to the song a few times and watched the video I realized how dark this song is... it's luscious and deep and full of violent imagery... so I couldn't let that go to waste :3

I'd like the viewer to interpret the painting in any way they wish.... but here are some questions which I'd hope the painting would cause the viewer to ask; thus encouraging a deep analytical exploration of the piece....

- Sam's tattoo is slashed and his eyes are black... is he possessed? If so... why? How did this happen? And he's holding Ruby's knife... there's blood on it.. is it his own.. Deans?

- There's an anti angel sigil on the wall.... was it put there to ward off Castiel? And if it was.... who put it there... who's blood was used for it?

- Sam has keys in his hands... are they the Impala keys? He looks smug... like he's plotting his next move... what will it be... is Bobby in danger? Is he reporting to someone...? Was that sigil really to keep Castiel away....?
